Thomas is in regular demand as a private teacher, with a busy teaching practice in West London.

 He can offer tuition in the following areas:

• Organ (Beginner to Diploma)

• Harpsichord (Beginner to Diploma)

• Piano (Beginner to Grade 8)

• Theory/Aural (Beginner to Grade 8)

 

Thomas has many years' experience teaching privately, in schools and at university level; he has a current Enhanced DBS check, and is happy to teach students of all ages, abilities, and experience levels.

Bespoke online musicianship courses 

​

Bespoke online classes in musicianship and music theory are a great way to fill in gaps in musical knowledge for instrumental learners, and music enthusiasts.

Thomas can design courses for any level or on any set of topics, with a focus on different areas, including: 

 

• Preparation for ABRSM theory exams 

• Sight reading and notation

• Rhythm

• Harmony 

• Studies in music history (for instance based on a particular composer/style) 

• Organist Keyboard skills for examinations, auditions and diplomas

The course material and course length are designed in close collaboration with the student, and tailored to their particular needs and interests.
